Het hout van Platowood biedt oneindig veel mogelijkheden ter versterking van architectuur. Van nature niet-duurzame houtsoorten worden door een uniek proces veredeld, waardoor het hout zonder afwerking buiten toegepast kan worden.
Door het gepatenteerde hydro-thermische modificatieproces (platoniseren) worden de in het hout aanwezige eigenschappen versterkt, zónder chemische toevoegingen. Daarmee is ons hout de meest duurzame keuze voor o.a. gevelbekleding, kozijnhout, geluidsschermen, interieur, tuin, recreatiewoningen en infra-werken.
