About Platte Institute

The Platte Institute helps Nebraskans remove economic barriers with policy research and legislative advice. We get it. The status quo has prevented you from flourishing economically. It’s like the government’s regulations have you trapped in red tape. You’re frustrated and hopeless, and feel like your voice doesn’t even matter. You wish the government could work for Nebraskans, not against us. The truth is that we can create a prosperous economy for all Nebraskans. We just need to tear down the status quo and enact business-friendly policies. That’s why The Platte Institute exists. Our economic research has prevented big-government policies. We promote policies that limit government, promote free enterprise and reward personal initiative. Over the last 13 years, we’ve saved billions of dollars for taxpayers and created hundreds of jobs in over 20 different career fields. We help Nebraskans keep more of what they earn, start new businesses, and attract a talented workforce. We reduce, reform, and remove economic barriers. If you want more economic freedom in Nebraska, please visit PlatteInstitute.org to make a donation to help further our research. Or, you can subscribe to our weekly newsletter from our CEO, Jim Vokal. You’ll learn about the most important economic issues facing Nebraskans this week. If you join The Platte Institute as a donor, subscriber or supporter, you’ll gain an ally fighting for you. We’re here to enact the economic policies you need in order to be successful in Nebraska. ❌ It’s time to stop the status quo. Let’s remove economic barriers and make Nebraskans proud. --- The Platte Institute is a nonpartisan, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization; our organization is privately funded through contributions made by individuals, businesses, and private foundations. All donations to the Platte Institute are tax deductible.
