PlaTTO UNIWA was established in 2022. PlaTTO offers targeted services in terms of connecting the research developed at University of West Attica with production and the market within the framework of exploiting research results. PlaTTO aims for collaboration with entities and businesses from both the public and private sectors and is responsible for: -Exploiting the research results conducted at UNIWA by supporting the submission of intellectual property rights applications, especially patent applications, and monitoring these applications. -Leveraging the research results of UNIWA by connecting with the market. -Documenting the processes of managing intellectual property rights. -Providing support and advice to UNIWA researchers on establishing startup companies. -Supporting university researchers in finding funding for their research exploitation. -Consulting on issues of commercial exploitation of research results and marketing. -Organizing actions to promote research results.
