Platypus Brewing is a craft brewery in Houston, TX with a full service bar and restaurant on site. Founded in 2016 the Texas-meets-Australia concept is the brainchild of an Aussie and Texas trio, Sean and Rachna Hanrahan and Morgan Hughes. The trio was seeking to bring together the cultures and flavors of their home countries, original and new, through good food, beer and friends, old and new.
On site expect anwhere from 12 -15 freshly brewed beers on tap along with craft cocktails, liquor, wine and ciders. The seasonal menu is set to pair perfectly with beers and cocktails and offers something for everyone. Beers can also be found around town at select bars and restaurants on tap plus in cans on site and at select retailers.
