Play Pits started out as a mother’s solution to providing a kid-friendly, all-natural hygiene option for children with active lifestyles. In 2017 Chantel Powell, a mother of 3, picked up her 6-year-old son “Kam” from basketball practice and found him “smelling like a grown man”. She immediately went on a hunt for a safe remedy. She quickly discovered there was nothing on the market that would meet his needs - delicate, fresh, AND fun. The lack of chemical-free kid-friendly deodorants, coupled with her experience and love for creating products, she went to her kitchen to make something specifically for Kam. He encouraged her to make it for “everyone” and from that day PLAY PITS was born. Play Pits is a family brand dedicated to setting a new standard for natural hygiene products.
