The play2PREVENT (p2P) Lab, a partner of the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health at Dartmouth College’s Geisel School of Medicine, is a leader in developing evidence-based serious games – video games designed for more than just entertainment. Our innovative digital tools, grounded in research, technology, and behavioral science, empower youth and young adults to make healthier choices.
The p2P Lab collaborates with adolescents, community partners, and top serious and commercial game developers to create engaging, research-informed video games. Supported with funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the CVS Health Foundation, among others, we rigorously test each game to ensure effectiveness. Our mobile games deliver prevention and health promotion interventions with broad reach, high fidelity, scalability, and real-world impact – helping shape stronger, healthier lives for today’s youth.
