Playahead

Playahead.se was one of Scandinavia's most popular and creative social networking communities for young people. In January 2007 Playahead merged with MTG Online, the new media business unit of Modern Times Group. The site was eventually decommissioned in March 2010. Playahead was launched in 1997 by two young enthusiasts, Jonas Frost and Magnus Hansson who both stayed with the company throughout most of its lifetime, operating and developing the community. At its peak Playahead was Sweden's second largest online community, joining and using the site was always free of cost. Online members create their profile. The result is a vibrant and dynamic site that reflects what members think and feel.
