Playfully's mission is to build apps and services that help busy parents spend more meaningful moments nurturing their children.
Playfully is embarking on that mission with an iPhone app that gives parents of young children - ages 0-3 - ideas of games we can play with our little ones that also support their growth and development.
Many parents know that the experiences children have during their early years have a profound impact on their child's long-term success and happiness. But it's still difficult for us as parents to know how to make the most out of those early years. We’re always left wondering how we can better engage with our children, what other games we can play once we run out of ideas, and how to know what we should expect from our children and when.
Playfully works with child psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and everyday parents to create quick, easy and fun games that can be played in the home or out and about. We combine these games with tips on what parents can look for and how they can best encourage social, cognitive, physical, and language development in their children. By making this available in a mobile app, and making it easy for parents to provide feedback, the app can tailor its content to the unique path of each child, creating a truly personalized early education curriculum.
Playfully's origins come from our own experiences with our young children and the needs we feel each and every day. We hope that every family using Playfully walks away with a tighter bond, more confidence and trust in each other, and lots of fun and crazy memories!
