HU Playmakers was established in 2012 as a means to provide safe social experiences for college students in Washington, D.C. As only Freshman and Sophomores in college – we planned and sold out events at the Fillmore Silver Spring, Howard Theatre, etc. Our motto of “Play Hard – Study Harder” truly resonated with our audience.

Playmakers US was launched in 2016 to fill a void for social activities targeting young professionals on the East Coast. Events such as the Young Alumni Social, the Wine N Whiskey Experience, HowardLantavegas, and New Chocolate City have become staples for young professionals in both Washington, D.C. and New York City.
