Playspread is a media monitoring company based in lagos run by experienced teams of developers and music enthusiasts. We are shaping the future of the Nigerian music industry by working at the intersection of data and music. We provide insights and understanding into consumer behavior for the entertainment industry. We aggregate and analyze all music related information available on radio, TV, print and web. From radio stations playing artists tracks to websites mentioning an artist or release, Playspread monitors audio and video content as it relates to certain keywords. We currently track and index data for 1.5M artists and over 30 million individual releases (local and foreign) – all in real time and it gets growing by the minute. Our dashboards generate thousands of reports as required and customized by the user
