Global strategic engineering and environmental consultancy, Ricardo plc, acquired PLC Consulting on 31 July 2019. PLC Consulting Pty Ltd was a privately-owned Company. The business has been rebranded to align with Ricardo’s united global strategy. Managing Director, Deane Ellwood and the existing leadership team will continue to lead the business together with the support of the Company’s employees. The PLC Consulting business was founded in Melbourne in 2015/2016 offering planning, environment and infrastructure advisory consultancy services operating out of Melbourne with affiliated offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. With a team of highly experienced consultants, PLC responded to client needs for commercially and environmentally astute advice across the full project life cycle. PLC operated in three core business streams - Planning and Environment - Urban and Environmental Infrastructure; and - Management and Advisory. Our team has a successful track record of delivering major infrastructure projects in the Transport, Environmental Infrastructure and Property sectors for Government and private sector clients. Core skills in engineering and commerce are supplemented by specialist skills in planning, environmental science, hydrogeology, risk management and finance.
