Pledges for Change is a youth-led, non-profit with a single mandate: to create a Canada where young people feel empowered to be core contributors to the social well-being of their communities. Since 2013, we’ve advanced this mandate by launching initiatives that connect young Canadians with, and grow the number of youth-oriented, volunteer opportunities.
Our grassroots efforts to support young people in tackling Canada’s greatest social challenges have reached over 21,000 young people to date, who have gone on to volunteer 90,000+ hours of community service collectively. To expand our impact, we recently created a program that works with leading organizations across the private, public, and social sectors to design, develop, and deploy new approaches that help young volunteers.
