PLEN Robotics

We are a hardware start-up company formed in 2017. After successfully raising funds on the world's largest crowd-funding platform, Kickstarter, we turned our attention to the release of our first go-to-market product. Beginning development in the summer of 2019, the product was named the PLEN Cube, an 'AI Assistant' designed to be the size of the palm of your hand. Our company headquarters is based our of Osaka. Although we are still a small-scale business with only a few employees, our Engineering team is multinational having various abilities, with members from Canada, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and many more. Our strengths lie in embedded technology and extends into the practical applications of actuator design and control, as well as distributed control methods for hardware development. PLEN Cube The PLEN Cube, which is still in development, is the company's first product. Even with its small size, the PLEN Cube will be packed with real time face tracking and a voice recognition system. The PLEN Cube connects to various web services, can recognize and track person's face, and focuses on communication and personalized interactions with users through voice and motion. At businesses, people are able to access web services through face recognition instead of passwords. With face authentication, the user does not have to worry about having others use it. Thus, the PLEN Cube can be uesd for ordering, check-in, and settlement devices at hotels, restaurants, and shops. At home, this small, compact robot can be controlled with voice commands to use smart devices, home appliances, or to take and share photos and videos. Moreover, the PLEN Cube has precise face recognition and tracking capabilities.
