Plesner Patterns is a Norwegian design studio offering custom-designed surface patterns for interior, architecture and fashion. The designs are inspired by everyday moments. Creator and founder Kiki Plesner-Löfroth’s craftmanship is unique, using manual methods such as the use of ink, moss, and even playdough to create these distinct and exciting patterns, bringing a sense of time and soul to each pattern. A lot of her patterns are inspired by nature, and she is intrigued by The Biophilic philosophy - the importance of natural-like surroundings and what that can do to our mental health and well-being.
Designs are digitalised and can be printed on a variety of fabrics, wallpaper, foil and tiles. Plesner Patterns work closely with Innvik and Grinaker weaving mills in Norway for upholstery fabric and more. Printed Fabrics are sourced in The UK and Sweden.
Also offering a bespoke service, designs can be custom-made for any occasion, from personal to corporate. Kiki has worked 15 years with creating visual identities, this makes her skilled in creating bespoke patterns reflecting a given interior concept or an extension of a visual identity.
