PLP Thailand was established in Thailand and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Preformed Line Products Co. The office, and ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified factory, are located in the tax free zone of Ladkrabang Industrial Estate and having 16,000 square meter land space. after PLP acquired Dulmison in December 2009, the company integrated the existing two operations of PLP Asia and former Tyco Electronics Dulmison (Thailand) and registered a new company name as Preformed Line Products (Thailand) Ltd. PLP Thailand serves the Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Substation, Communication and Solar markets. The market coverage of PLP Thailand includes Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Japan and Taiwan. Since 1976, PLP Thailand has designed and supplied complete string hardware, fitting and accessories to Electricity Utilities in many countries throughout Asia, the Middle East and various contractors worldwide. PLP Thailand has gained an enviable reputation for reliable high quality products and is approved by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (up to 500kV), National Grid (UK), TNB (Malaysia) and WAPDA (Pakistan).
