Plug Cambridge, a recently opened Coworking and innovation center on 618 Cambridge St, in Cambridge is the newest branch of the Plug Coworking ecosystem founded in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
At Plug we believe that we can revolutionize the Coworking industry! This is how:
- First, we include underrepresented groups in the innovation economy. Only four percent of businesses in technology-based growth industries are minority-owned, according to a 2012 PolicyBridge report. In addition to being the first minority owned Coworking space in the area.
- Second, we are the bridge between starts ups from other parts of the world and the Boston startup ecosystem. We are starting with Latin America, where our roots are, tapping into the 100+ currently residing in the Plug Brazil ecosystem.
- Third, we believe that providing a beautiful place to work is no longer sufficient. We want to know our members and help them build beneficial relationships and meet the right people to help them grow as entrepreneurs, freelancers or whatever they’d like to do.
