PMAE - The Patrick McAndless Award for Excellence

The Patrick McAndless Award for Excellence (PMAE) recognizes dancers with the De Danaan School of Irish Dance who demonstrate the highest qualities of passion, work ethic, dedication, persistence, and leadership in pursuit of excellence in Irish dance, academics, and voluntary community service. The PMAE is presented annually in support of Nora Pickett’s vision: “To create a healthy, vibrant and sustainable Irish dance environment that supports an individual’s dreams and goals while fostering, personal growth and development, friendships and a sense of enjoyment in dance”. The Award is also intended to serve the Mission of the De Danaan School of Irish Dance: “To support dancers by raising funds to nurture their development in order for them to reach their full potential”.
