Product Management in Africa is an emerging discipline. There is not much formal training and everyone seems to be learning from their jobs. The aim is to build a networking and learning opportunity for our community of Product Managers in different industries. It will also bring together top talent to share knowledge and elevate digital product innovation in Nigeria. It will include topics on: Product Development Product Design Software Product Management New Product Development: Software and Technology User Experience Product Marketing Lean Startup Being Agile Design Thinking Technology Startups Vision: To build a powerful network of Product Managers in Africa The plan is to organise regular meetups and also have at least 2 major events yearly where we invite experienced professionals (e.g. startup CEO) to share their experiences and knowledge. During the conferences, participants will have the opportunity to hear about the latest technology and innovation in product management. To also share information on job opportunities available in the market. Train and mentor aspiring Product Managers to enable them land roles in organizations Create an online community to ask questions, share resources such as books, podcasts, design etc..exchange ideas on how we build products.
