พันธกิจของสมาคมฯ
1. เป็นศูนย์กลางการพัฒนาความรู้ด้านบริหารงานบุคคลของประเทศไทย
2. ยกระดับการบริหารงานของสมาคมฯ ให้เป็นที่ยอมรับทั้งในระดับประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ มีการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน
3. มีส่วนร่วมในขับเคลื่อนแผนพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์แห่งชาติ
4. ผลักดันให้งานบริหารบุคคลได้รับการบรรจุเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพันธกิจขององค์กรต่างๆ
5. เป็นตัวแทนดำเนินการ หรือทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานราชการ/สถาบันอื่นๆ ทั้งใน และต่างประเทศ เพื่อผลักดันเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบริหารงานบุคคลให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อวิชาชีพ
6. ดำเนินงานโดยคำนึงถึงประโยชน์โดยรวมของสมาชิกและนักบริหารงานบุคคล
