About PMCB Global Export Accelerator Programme
The Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Chamber of Business (PMCB) is excited to launch the PMCB Global Export Accelerator Programme (GEAP) supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Objective: The GEAP has an overall development objective, that of supporting export-led economic activity, to unlock entrepreneurial opportunities for emerging Black businesses and create export-orientated employment. The programme aims to stimulate job creation and income generation for 40 SMEs by providing them with a suit of export orientated development support, ranging from training, mentoring, product development and international market research, to international market access and business linkages. How it will work: The process and criteria involved in selecting the SMEs is key to the programme’s success. Export development is not for start-ups and those selected must be trading in the domestic market. How to apply: Complete our application form on the PMCB Website no later than the 31st of March 2022. Applications are open to successful black-owned businesses that have been in operation for more then a year.
