Project Management Institute Emerald Coast Florida Chapter

The Project Management Institute Emerald Coast Florida (ECFL) Chapter was chartered is a volunteer organization consisting of nearly 650 members located across four communities: Fort Walton Beach, FL; Panama City Beach, FL; Pensacola, FL; and Mobile, AL. The chapter board is comprised of a President, Past President, VP Administration/Secretary, VP Finance, Branch Directors, and multiple director positions. Our mission to our members is: a) To foster professionalism in the management of projects. b) To contribute to the quality and scope of project management. c) To stimulate appropriate global application of project management for the benefit of general public. d) To provide a recognized forum for the free exchange of ideas, applications, and solutions to project management issues among it's members, and other interested and involved project management professionals. e) To identify and promote the fundamentals of project management and advance the body of knowledge for managing projects successfully. f) Collaborate with universities and other education institutions to encourage appropriate education and career development at all levels in project management. We offer great opportunities to meet other project managers and to learn about project management. Chapter activities include lunch meetings and happy hours, a spring symposium, annual dinner, and project management courses in cooperation with certified PMI providers. Our chapter includes members from local banks, insurance companies, government contractors, manufacturers, state/local government and others.
