The Portfolio Management Program (PMP) Vienna is an educational initiative of WU Wien, P&K Pühringer Charitable Foundation and ZZ Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH. Students are mentored by faculty and professionals and manage a real portfolio of more than 1 million EUR. In the first year, participants act as financial analysts where they conduct financial and economic research. In the second year, students get the chance to develop their trading strategies and invest on their own initiative. During the Portfolio Management Program the students get the opportunity to combine their theoretical knowledge from the university with a practical hands-on working experience.
