Palestinian Medical Students’ Association- PMSA

PMSA-Palestine is an independent National Federation representing Palestine Palestine within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations - IFMSA. It's governed by PMSA Constitution and Bylaws, acting as a non-governmental and non for profit, operates as a Student Organization with its subsidiaries affiliated with medical faculties in Palestine. PMSA-Palestine pursues its aims without political, religious, social, racial, national, sexual, or any other form of discrimination. - PMSA-Palestine vision statement: A country in which all medical students unite for local and global health and are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to take on health leadership roles locally and globally, leading Palestine to the best possible healthcare system. PMSA-Palestine mission statement: PMSA-Palestine is the union of medical students in Palestine. It trains the students to become leaders in healthcare with a deeper understanding of global health and international cooperation. It improves the knowledge of medical students in the areas of medical education and human rights while also providing them with soft skills and training to help them cope with the emerging challenges. PMSA serves as a platform to connect the Palestinian medical students with the world through research and professional exchange experiences while embracing cultural diversity so as to shape a sustainable and healthy future. PMSA-Palestine Objectives: The goal of The National Federation is to serve society and medical students in Palestine through its members by: - Empowering medical students in using their knowledge and capacities for the benefit of society. - Participating in forums for medical students throughout the world to discuss topics related to individual and community health, education and science and to formulate policies from such discussions. - Promoting and facilitating professional and scientific exchanges
