About Prime Minister’s Youth Empowerment Programme - Youth Ke Uraan
The Prime Minister’s Youth Internship Program (PMYIP) is a landmark initiative by the Government of Pakistan aimed at empowering young graduates by providing them with meaningful work experience and financial support. Over a four-year period (2024–2028), 30,000 interns will be placed in various organizations to bridge the gap between academia and the job market. Each intern receives a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000 for six months, totaling Rs. 240,000 per intern. The program has been allocated Rs. 7.499 billion, reflecting the government’s commitment to reducing youth unemployment and enhancing workforce employability.
