Pocalunar was established in 2015, initiated by students of Chemical Engineering from Diponegoro University. Pocalunar was formed to enhance the achievements in the international Chem-E-Car competition at Diponegoro University, which involves multiple disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Pocalunar was established as a platform for developing Diponegoro University students in renewable energy towards advancing SDG 7 "Affordable and Clean Energy" through the design of chemically fueled cars.
With the vision of becoming a leading organization in renewable energy and the design of chemically fueled cars, Pocalunar aims to serve as a hub for developing Diponegoro University students in renewable energy and the design of chemically fueled cars.
Our mission is to create outstanding students ready to compete nationally and internationally, contribute to global efforts in reducing carbon footprint, and promote wise use of natural resources through research and innovation in chemical reaction-based vehicle technology. Pocalunar also aims to build interdisciplinary collaborations and strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industries, and communities to advance sustainable mobility technology.
