Pocket Places

Pocket Places creates, integrates, stores and distributes location based multimedia information for digital devices. We work mainly in the travel, leisure and tourism industry and both publish our own range of iPhone apps, other mobile device apps, web apps, PC apps and web sites as well as providing a platform for 3rd party travel writers and content owners, that would like to publish their own content into a digital format. Pocket Places gives mobile phone and laptop/netbook users access to media and information, relevant to their location and time of day, with content including hyper-linked text, photographs/drawings, maps/plans, location based services and audio/video. We support both static and dynamic content, which means that our users can be sure that they are always accessing the most up-to-date information. Although our content can be viewed on a PC, most of our content is designed specifically for a mobile format. This means they are easy to access (one simple web address), easy to use (designed for small screens, with content that is highly visible and readable), easy to navigate (designed for touch screen or joystick users, with picture navigation where possible). Our mobile apps are downloadable from app stores and can be used without the need for an internet connection.
