Poggio Nibbiale was established in 1998 by Dr. Elke and Dr. Nikolaus Buchheim.
Today it operates with over 11 Ha vineyards. The main grapes are Sangiovese, Cabernet, Canaiolo and Montepulciano The first harvest was in 2002, and it was immediately clear that quality was going to be the strength of the winery.
Today the company produces 5 different wines:
1 white (Vermentino)
4 red (Volpe, Morellino di Scansano DOCG, Tommaso DOCG Riserva and Chorus)
Having a focused small production, all ORGANIC, the company is focused 100% on the quality of its wines. This is an outstanding value, which is not easy to find elsewhere.
