We are a global community of Pro Bono civic technologists and data scientists building open-source software for journalists, researchers, and political scientists, as well as, customized software solutions for policymakers and business leaders. We develop data-driven applications that support tasks ranging from text annotation, coding, and machine classification, social media, blog data capture, real-time and historical Twitter sentiment analysis, political game-theory, machine learning, probabilistic programming. Policybot combines flexible and adaptive software algorithms with a refined workflow for human-based coding to provide a framework for conducting accurate and reliable large-scale research practices and methodologies for political scientists, social scientists, and business economics researchers.
