PolicyGarage is a specified non-profit organization in Japan, composed of a team of policy innovators from local governments, ministries, academia and private sector. With our expertise in Behavioral Design, Evidence-Based-Policy-Making and Design thinking, we aim to develop and deliver human-centered truly effective policy to citizens.
PolicyGarage takes a tailor-made approach in supporting our clients with a focus on four areas: 1) knowledge & toolkit development and sharing, 2) capacity building, 3) consultation on individual projects, and 4) networking.
PolicyGarage and its partner YBiT (Yokohama Behavioral insights and design Team) have carried out more than 60 training sessions/lectures and 30 monthly seminars on NUDGE mainly for local government officials. In addition, we worked on approximately 60 cases in a variety of policy fields ranging from health and welfare to environment, taxation, survey response, etc.
