Polytechnic of Furniture Industry and Wood Processing Industry

Furniture and Wood Processing Industry Polytechnic (Polifurneka) is a polytechnic under the Ministry of Industry that plays a role in providing competent, innovative, and ready-to-work industrial human resources for furniture and wood processing industry. Founded in 2018 in Kendal Regency, Polifurneka is the first and the only polytechnic in Indonesia that focuses on the furniture industry. Polifurneka has 3 study programs, namely: • D3 Furniture Design • D3 Business Management Furniture industry • D3 Furniture Production Engineering In collaboration with the Swiss Government through the S4C (Skill for Competitiveness) program, Polifurneka implements a dual system of education where learning consists of 30% theory and 70% practice in the industry. Currently, Polifurneka has collaborated with more than 100 furniture industries throughout Indonesia.
