Willkommen bei Polis180! Wir sind ein Grassroots-Thinktank für Außen- und Europapolitik. Wir übersetzen wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse für politische EntscheidungsträgerInnen. Ideen, Analysen und Lösungsansätze unserer Generation bringen wir durch innovative, partizipative und inklusive Ansätze in den politischen Diskurs ein. In thematischen Programmen und mit neuen und kreativen Formaten entwickeln wir echte Alternativen für eine konstruktive Außen- und Europapolitik. Polis180 is an innovative, nonpartisan platform where young people can contribute their political ideas outside of traditional frameworks and be heard in the political sphere. It’s a space where both criticism and optimism are at home. Forget left vs. right. Don’t be fooled by the word “grassroots” or our Berlin address: we encourage discussion based on the better argument, wherever it lands on the left-right spectrum (and beyond). Come as you are. Polis180 fosters the kind of participation that’s open to all socio-economic, ideological and academic backgrounds. Make some noise. We facilitate all kinds of events and revel in the unusual. Dream it, then do it. Want to write a policy paper? We’ll help you publish it. Want to organize an event with political decision-makers? We’ll provide the infrastructure. Bring your ideas and we’ll do what we can to implement them. Polis180 was founded in June 2015 by a group of young political entrepreneurs with diverse ideological backgrounds. We’re united by the desire to have the voices of our generation heard by political decision-makers, and we’re backed by a strong organisational structure. We work with a voluntary executive board and have a staffed head office that runs the platform. We fund our activities through generous grants and public funding, membership fees, and collaborations with non-profits and private donors. Let’s talk!
