Norman Pollard, a skilled carpenter, taught his wife and children everything he knew about woodworking. And in 1948, the family business was born. The Pollard formula for success was simple: work hard, reinvest in new technology, and give customers more for their money. Back then every window was made by hand. We now take great pride in combining superb craftsmanship with the latest technology in manufacturing techniques. Pollard presently operates in a state-of-the-art, 300,000+ sq ft plant with its own dedicated R&D facility. Recognized as a leader in the window and door market, Pollard is known for developing innovative products that surpass the most stringent building codes in North America.
Today, Pollard is still a 100% owned and operated family business focused on the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of windows and doors in Canada.
