POLYHEDRON, a vertically integrated organization has a fully equipped R&D laboratory to develop laboratory and commercial scale processes for isolating phytomolecules of medicinal value.
Also, POLYHEDRON has an extraction plant where we manufacture phytomolecules and botanical extracts in commercial scale and export them as Nutraceutical ingredients to various countries such as USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
POLYHEDRON works with farmer groups towards an objective of Sustainable Agriculture. While we get rawmaterials from these farmer groups for some of our products, we work with a plan to meet all rawmaterial needs through these farmer groups in the coming years.
Further, POLYHEDRON manufactures Nutraceutical formulations and market them worldwide under our brands. We offer private labeling services also to others.
HISTORY
2004 Beginning with a Research and Development Laboratory
Focusing on developing novel processes for isolating phytomolecules from herbs and spices. Also, working on lesser known herbs mainly those referred in traditional Indian Medicine System Siddha and Ayurveda and isolating the molecules of medicinal value from them.
2005 Exporting of Phytomolecules and Standardised Herbal and Spice extracts
Products are exported to various countries such as USA, Canada, Europe (France, Germany, Italy), Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
2006 Setting up an extraction unit complying with cGMP norms
Set up a cGMP complying manufacturing unit to produce phytomolecules and stanbdardised botanical extracts.
2009 As a step towards backward integration and an initiative towards Sustainable Agriculture, started working with farmers
Currently, we have developed a group of farmers who cultivate turmeric. Farmers are trained on farming and post farming activities by the qualified and experienced Agricultural experts. An important mile stone which greatly contributes to sustainable agricultural practices.
