Polyphonic Films was formed in 2006 to create artistic-led broadcast projects in the field of classical and contemporary music. We are now a fully-fledged creative studio making film and video content alongside podcasts, social media content and creative direction. Our acclaimed debut feature, The Full Monteverdi featuring I Fagiolini and co-produced with SVT, YLE, Ceska Televise and Sky Arts was broadcast across the world and released on DVD globally by Naxos. We originated and produced MUSIC ROOM for Sky Arts in 2010 featuring a glittering array of classical instrumentalists 'in session' and in conversation with Howard Goodall. Featured artists included Lang Lang, Nicola Benedetti and Julian Lloyd Webber. In 2013 we made the award-winning concert film HOW LIKE AN ANGEL, the breath-taking music and circus collaboration between I Fagiolini and CIRCA, commissioned by The Space, BBC Arts and Arts Council England. More recently we have made over 60 music videos for BBC Bitesize Scotland, short documentaries for BBC Ideas, DECCA Classics and CBBC, the lockdown series POLYPHONIC CONCERT CLUB, alongside comedy films with I Fagiolini and the ongoing podcast Choral Chihuahua.
