Polyture was founded in Izmir, Turkey in early 2020 by Mechanical and Electrical Engineers as a startup company aiming to produce high-quality filament for the additive manufacturing industry.
The founders designed their own machine lines with the experience and professional knowledge they gained in the private sector, and then they moved on to the production phase step by step. Following the many R&D studies they carried out in this process, they made many revisions to their machine lines. It started full production activities in June 2021, with many raw material trials on the machine they installed.
Advantages of Polyture 3D Filament:
➔ Since the design and software of the machine line belong to them, they can make many rapid improvements and revisions.
➔ The screw and barrel in the extruder are specially designed. During extrusion, each polymer shows a homogeneous distribution. For this reason, regular filament flow is observed in 3D printers.
➔ First class raw materials supplied from global manufacturers are always used in the process.
➔ Each polymer product is dried before extrusion to remove moisture under certain standards according to its characteristics.
➔ High diameter accuracy is ensured with 2-axis laser diameter measuring device in the production line and ovality is kept at a minimum level. High-level surface quality is seen in the prints. Diameter tolerance is ± 0.03 mm on average.
➔ Winding quality is kept at the highest level with a specially written PLC program. Once you start printing on the 3D printer, prints can be taken very easily without any problems caused by tangling.
➔ Traceability is ensured by recording production reports and process parameters on a batch basis for each product.
➔ Special color studies are carried out with samples according to the production amount.
