PolyU Campus Carbon Neutrality

PolyU sees the need in formulating a campus carbon neutrality roadmap to make careful planning on campus development. To effectively address this, the Campus Carbon Neutrality Committee was established. This committee is responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and review of our roadmap, along with action plans, aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 – a significant milestone that surpasses the Hong Kong Government's target year of 2050. In addition to the long-term objective, short and medium-term targets have been set for 2028 and 2033, respectively, ensuring a progressive approach towards achieving carbon neutrality.
