PolyU Faculty of Science (PolyU Science) is comprised of three leading departments including the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, Department of Applied Mathematics and Department of Applied Physics In the past decades, our Faculty has built its reputation for research excellence and holistic education well received by the industries. PolyU Science is committed to offering quality academic programmes with curricula focused on experiential learning and application-oriented teaching. It provides taught postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. We host four University Research Facilities, namely in Big Data Analytics, Chemical and Environmental Analysis, Life Sciences, and Materials Characterization and Device Fabrication, and six Research Institutes/ Centres. PolyU Science endeavours to bring the research impacts to Mainland China by establishing the State Key Laboratory in Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery. Disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration with the industries are always in our agenda, we weave a growing global network through business, industry and government partnership which further facilitates us to transfer our innovation into solution.
