HISTORY:
- Ponder Alliance was started by few likeminded IT professionals in 2003 to
address issues at that point of time.
- Pakistani IT industry witnessed a downfall after year 2000 due to dot com
bubble burst.
- Majority of the IT service providers in Pakistan either have closed down
their operations or operating in survival mode, were not progressing.
- In 2002, some likeminded professionals sat down and discussed the
declining state of Pakistani IT industry.
- April 2003, Ponder Alliance was formed to address the issues faced by the
IT industry.
OBJECTIVE:
Reduce the gap of education system at University level and local IT
industries in Karachi.
Form a neutral platform consist of three stakeholders:
- Industry professionals
- Senior Faculty
- Students
Identify the weakness or issues faced by universities and provide
them assistance or solution.
