The POP-ART project aims to enhance security for EU citizens in public spaces and mass gatherings, aligning with the EU Security Union Strategy 2020-2025 and the EU Counter-terrorism Agenda.
It combines a technical, regulatory, and societal approach, under a public-private perspective, to deliver tools that effectively prevent, deter, and mitigate security threats and attacks. The project's technical solution is a platform that securely processes and shares real-time data, utilizing Big Data analysis and machine learning for image and audio processing.
The project is co-funded by the European Union’s Internal Security Fund (ISF), the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Cyprus.
