Portland Parks Foundation is an independent nonprofit founded in 2001 to preserve the legacy of Portland parks, and bring new resources and expertise to the long-term stewardship of Portland’s parks and park programs.
The Foundation recognizes that government agencies alone are not able to guarantee citizens a vibrant network of parks and parks programs. We work in cooperation with Portland Parks & Recreation, private foundations, park-supporting nonprofits, and citizens to build a stronger parks system.
