We are a group of like-minded people who have come together to create happy workplaces that are harassment- free backed by the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), 2013. We have presence in India and Myanmar. We provide trained External Cousels, conduct legal trainings for ICC members and employee awareness sessions.

What set the ball rolling was the introduction of the two laws that have been enacted recently-
• Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ( POCSO) and;
• Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013. (SHW Act).
Those of us who are lawyers and those in the teaching profession studied the provisions of these laws in details and then brain stormed about how we could pitch in to do our bit for the society.
Under the two Laws, a lot of definitions have been made clearer, the ambiguities removed, the timelines made stringent and the punishments harsher. Both these laws are empowering and hence the mission of protecting children and women seems achievable.
We hope to move to the next orbit of safety just as we have moved to the next orbit in awareness of our health.
The aspiration of our NGO is to be a self-sustaining organization where we reach out to ensure compliance on the part of all organizations (schools, hospitals, industries, sports complexes etc.). Such compliance will work like a double-edged sword- it will help victims to report more easily under the law and also make the accused more cautious before committing any wrong act.
All the members of our NGO had a number of brain-storming sessions before we made an informed decision that we are all taking out precious time from our families and professions to commit ourselves to this cause.
