Positive Impact

At Positive Impact we believe that everybody can achieve their true potential. In order to achieve your true potential Positive Impact has three aims. To help people find their limit, give them the knowledge to recognise it, and the ability to exceed it. Our team has a diverse range of experience and between us have worked with nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, special schools, adult education and a wide range of community initiatives. Our wide range of experience ensures that the Positive Impact team has so many strings to its bow that no other organisation has. Positive Impact are based in Shilton, Coventry. The vision was to become an organisation that engaged all young people in effective education. Being an approved NCFE centre, Positive Impact now have the power to design their own curriculum for Maths, English and ICT, enabling young people to stretch themselves in a safe, understanding environment, with a curriculum built around their own hobbies and interests. Working closely with schools and local authorities throughout the midlands we have three main education projects. We have our Alternative Education Programme which is individualised and agreed upon by each student and can include; Maths, English, ICT, Leadership Awards, Sports Awards, Mental Health Awareness and Protective Behaviours. Our mentoring programme is in place to work with teachers and teaching assistants on how to deliver effective Physical Education. All lead staff are qualified tutors and we work one to one with school staff during P.E lessons. Finally, we provide schools with professional P.E delivery from our own bespoke curriculum designed by our fully qualified and experienced coaches. Our community programme is aimed at increasing the opportunities for people in the community. This includes raising the participation levels in sport and helping the disengaged gain an education.
