At Positive Progress, the focus is on individual support that acknowledges neurodiversity and neurodivergence, leveraging over two decades of expertise in SEN learning & behavioural support with an emphasis on support & advocacy for students who are communicating their needs through “behaviours of concern”. I’m passionate about supporting and empowering pre-verbal and non-verbal students through tailored communication strategies, including AAC, VB, PECS, Gestalt and sign language to enable and support autonomous communication. With a strong foundation in the Social Thinking Curriculum and a commitment to supporting social understanding, I enable school age students to confidently navigate social challenges, academic behavioural expectations and self-advocacy with confidence. My approach integrates neurodiversity-affirming methodologies such as the Zones of Regulation to help build self awareness & provide strategies students can use to self-regulate while also teaching skills to support executive function, student organisation & revision for older students.
