Positively Alive

Positively Alive is a Belgian based Charity with two objectives: 1. Help normalize HIV by sharing timely, relevant, positive and empowering messages using social media. 2. Help end the HIV & AIDS epidemic by generating funds for those organizations that need it the most and for research into finding a vaccine and a cure for HIV. The Positively Alive Campaign is an online communication campaign about HIV and stigma to create awareness about this topic that is still very much taboo in many circles of society today and to generate funds for the following two organizations: HIV Cure Research Center of Ghent, Belgium - https://hcrc.ugent.be/ Winnie Mabaso Foundation, South Africa - http://www.winniemabaso.org/ Volunteers from over fifteen countries are already participating in this beautiful and much needed initiative. Our idea is to create a ripple effect across five continents in order for our leaders, policy makers and the national and international donor community to put HIV and AIDS back at the top of their agenda so we can once and for all end the epidemic.
