POWER Foundation — The Progressive Organization for Women’s Empowerment & Rehabilitation — is a dedicated advocacy and communication platform working toward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly around gender equality, public health, education, and inclusive development. Through innovative campaigns such as “WeMEN: Campaign Against Gender Inequality”, “Power Talk”, and “RIP Inequality”, the Foundation has effectively leveraged traditional and digital media to spark critical conversations and mobilize communities. Initiatives like ‘Rubaroo’ demonstrate their focused work on immunization and public health awareness. POWER Foundation has established meaningful partnerships with globally respected organizations such as UNICEF, UN Women (HeForShe), National and State Commissions for Women, as well as academic institutions, media houses, and private sector leaders. These partnerships are complemented by endorsements from influential individuals, including national and state politicians, media professionals, celebrities, and diplomats. In collaboration with grassroots organizations, POWER Foundation emphasizes building capacity among local media (including Urdu journalists), thus increasing visibility and sustainability for marginalized voices.
