Power Pedals Pty Ltd is a research and development focused organisation committed to the commercialisation of an accurate, reliable and affordable pedal based force and power meter utilising proprietary technology (patent pending). A Power Pedals compatible spindle can be designed to fit most pedal systems.
Power Pedals has developed proprietary software which enables a cyclist to view their pedal stroke force profile in real time when transmitted via an ANT dongle to a computer. Smart phone applications are being developed so cyclists can optimise their cycling technique whilst training and racing.
Power Pedals system is currently at an advanced stage of prototype development. It has been designed to retro-fit to the Shimano SPD-SL pedal body but can be designed to fit any pedal body including MTB pedals.
