Every day in Canada, there are three recordable Arc Flash incidents. This statistic is only including recorded instances. In the United States, this statistic increases to seven incidents per day. For every 17 incidents, two people will die. Those who are injured by arc flash will be disabled for the rest of their lives and will likely pass away within 7-10 years.
