POWERED ELECTRON PRIVATE LIMITED currently incubated at STEP-IIT Kharagpur and Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF), is at the forefront of developing printed Solar PV Modules. Our pioneering technology allows for the printing of entire solar modules/panels, showcasing a unique design, construction, and fabrication process. What sets us apart is the integration of an innovative hybrid semiconducting material, exclusively invented by our team. This breakthrough hybrid semiconducting material serves as the absorber layer in our printable photovoltaic technology. A testament to our innovation, we have successfully filed a patent for the design, fabrication, and construction of Printable Solar Cell (Application No: 202211009134). Incorporating a simple yet effective Metal-Semiconductor-Metal (MSM) architecture for solar cell simulation, we achieved remarkable efficiency with an impressively lower thickness of 1.5 micrometres. This advancement enables us to offer solar modules at just a fraction of the price of conventional ones, making solar energy accessible to a wider audience. Further fueling our journey towards success, POWERED ELECTRON has developed a novel, simplified and unique method to fabricate composite(hybrid organic-inorganic) semiconductors and to understand that if our new fabrication method for hybrid semiconductor works, so that it can be used as the photoactive layer in our printable photovoltaics panels and we have done the semiconductor characterization at CSIR-CECRI through a Technical Service Project (TSP).
