About Powerstock

Powerstock was a lifestyle brand that represented a responsible, conscious, and effortlessly cool eco-friendly community. The Powerstock Festival was the first major communication initiative of the Powerstock Project, launched under the Patronage of UNESCO. It was the world’s first electronic music festival entirely dedicated to sustainable development—powered 100% by renewable energy and held in the stunning setting of the Albanella wind farm (Salerno, near Naples). The event featured international artists such as Moby, Mr. Oizo, Klaxons, Planet Funk, and many more. Recognized by the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, Powerstock Festival was officially part of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. It contributed to spreading the UN’s principles and advancing its goals, with the ambition of becoming a globally touring event that would capture the public imagination and redefine the eco-friendly lifestyle as modern, sexy, and highly desirable. In the years that followed, the organizers began working on new editions of the festival, scouting for suitable wind farms around the world. The project also expanded with Powerstock Stores (eco-friendly concept stores), nightlife initiatives (Powerstock Nights and various sponsorships), and what was arguably its most ambitious venture: Powerstock Apparel, an eco-fashion division with global distribution.
