With the aim of fortifying the construction industry by providing a superior, dependable quality cement, DHT Cement (Pvt) Ltd entered the Sri Lankan cement market under the dynamic brand name “PowerTech”. A few years later, we have grown into one of the largest cement manufacturers in the country. As a firm believer in our nation’s capabilities, our humble beginning as a cement bag importer (2014) was not sufficient and therefore, we soon expanded to a cement packing facility (2017) and are now a proud owner of a Cement Manufacturing Unit (2023). We are a fully homegrown company that envision “Giving strength and support to the local economy and the construction sector”. With our state of the art manufacturing plant, with a capacity of one million tons per annum, we stand ready to contribute immensely towards Sri Lanka’s infrastructure and economic growth.
